爱唱歌

Oliver loves music since young and we are sure that singing time is definitely one of his favorite program in CC.

Here are the songs that he had learned so far. Although the lyrics is not that accurate, but can definitely tell what song that he is singing :)

It is so difficult to ask him to pose or to sing in front of camera, he will either anyhow make some funny pose or just run away. Hence we have to record it secretly.......

Oliver is 大哭包

Oliver is a big crying baby now! He likes to make fuss and cry when mummy ask him to do something. For example, refuse to shower and just want to continue play his toys, refuse to eat dinner just want to eat cookies or yogurt, at playground refuse to leave.
Every morning will sure make a big fuss once see the uniforms that mummy going to put on him. He went to childcare centre for about 3 weeks already, but will still cry when we send him there.

Oliver not only likes to cry when he is awake, but will also wake up crying at middle of the night. The only thing was that he will only wake up crying at middle of the night during weekdays but not weekends. We guess he is either still yet to adjust to the life in CC or had played too much at CC during day time.

There's at least one thing he had learned now instead of cry, i.e. ask for help. Previously when he was unable to do something, he will first call for us then started to cry. But now he will say it out loud and clear "help, mummy, help" or tell us that "I don't know how, Oliver don't know how". :)

Hopefully he will walk over this T2 stage soon and become a more independant boy and not so "嗲" as commented by his teacher.

在CC的日子の日记～2

我已经去CC有10 天的日子了，只有两天我并没有哭。其中一天是我还没搞清楚状况，另外一天应该是因为我还没睡醒吧？！

无论每天早上我如何哭闹mummy还是不理我掉头就走！真狠心的mummy 呀！ ：（
不喜欢这里是因为在这里我无法为所欲为！任何一样玩具我都得和其他的同学们一起玩！在这里也没有像在家或婆婆家里那么自由，可以在任何时间看我爱看的卡通！只要我一不开心或耍一些小脾气婆婆就会给我饼干或糖果吃！

自从我去了CC以后每天一回到家我就会一直找东西吃，吃完饼干再喝yakult, 然后还是可以吃完一大碗的饭菜！过后还可以吃了水果再吃cake或muffin！

其实呀像我之前说的我并不是真的那么讨厌去CC，除了我无法在那里为所欲为和乱发脾气以外，我还蛮喜欢那里的。 因为我喜欢和我的同学们一起唱歌和去playground玩!

Mummy 终于还是决定了送我去 Childcare Centre (CC) 好让我不用每天在家无所事事...@_@

Day 1 (1st June 2011)
早上起来我和 mummy 的眼睛都肿肿的，原因是因为mummy昨晚“不小心”把我的 “tutu”弄坏了：（
结果害我伤心的哭了好久还生mummy的气不理她！
Mummy 看到我哭得那么伤心也陪着我一起哭。。。

一踏进CC我就开始感觉不对劲了，然后就开始闹脾气吵着要Mummy 带我离开,
结果反而让老师把Mummy给赶走不让她陪我!!!
但辛好Mummy在午餐时间就来了！午餐过后Mummy就带我回家了！真开兴！

P/S : 虽然Mummy 看到了我们的早餐和午餐的份量感觉挺心疼的...但她还是决定了让我继续下去...


Day 2
第二天Mummy又带我回到了这里,我没有哭闹反而还和Mummy说byebye呢!
午餐时间到了，为什麽Mummy还没来?
终以好不容易把午餐给吃完了，但Mummy还是没有出现......
到洗完澡了，为啥Mummy还是没来？？？
躺在小床上我怎样都无法入睡。。。这是个陌生的地方，而且没有了我心爱的“tutu” 要我如何睡?
好不容易入睡了老师却把我们叫醒，是mummy来了吗？。。。不是。。。。是吃茶点的时间到了。。
被老师逼着我(一把眼泪一把鼻涕）的把一碗绿色的东西给喝完后，我的救星（mummy）就出现了!
我真的一刻也不想待在这里!

Day 3
Mummy 又很早的把我叫醒了。。。oh no今天我又得去那个地方吗？？？
于是我用我最纯真最无辜又可怜的眼神望着mummy 然后问mummy我们去那里。。。
结果答案是我最不想听到的。。。
尽管我一直以哭来表达我的不满及不开心，mummy还是狠心的把我送去CC然后就掉头走了。。。 :((
其实在CC一整天我并不是真的那么不开心的，至少今天我们就做了chocolate marshmallow 可以带回家给papa 和 mummy吃! 呵呵。。。

没有穿尿片的日子の日记～4

Oliver is on total diaper free since months ago!!!

He's really a good boy that able to train himself from requesting us to bring him to toilet whenever he want to pee or poo poo; whether we are at home or outside.

When we were still thinking on how to train him not to wear diaper at night, he already started it himself by waking up in the middle of the night and tell us that he want to pee, even he was still wearing diaper at that time.

Since then we try not to let him wear diaper at all even at night, he had only wet the bed twice. One time at home and the other time at nanny's house. Really feel proud of our little cowboy! :)

But one small thing that we are headache about is, he will only want to go to a proper and clean toilet. Meaning he will refuse to pee or poo poo if is at the road side or the toilet is very dirty. He will hold it until we go to a proper and clean toilet! :)

乐乐~语录 10

A little girl who stand beside Oliver was playing an empty toy box / sample box.
Oliver try to stop the girl from playing it by telling the girl (with a very serious face) : 没有 liao, 不要玩!
The little girl look at Oliver with a blank face, Oliver talk in English instead : Inside no more, don't touch!
....he must be thinking that the little girl don't understand Chinese ya? Hahaha...

Oliver name the mole on his uncle's left chin as "Ladybird!"

Funny and naugthy Oliver

Months ago, when mummy teach Oliver say 'excuse me', he will make the coughing sound. But today, he suddenly say out the two words loud and clear when mummy is blocking his way out of the room!

He is very good in composing songs, he can just compose a song by using the words that he just heard!
For example:
Mummy say "close the door please.."
He will sing "close the the the door...close the door door...close door door..."
Mummy say "go away, stand one side"
He will sing "go away, go away, go away........"

When ask where is star star, he replied "star star go toilet oh!"

Love to make phone call to his 舅舅 and 舅母 who are in KL!

He will request to call them and when they did not answer the phone call, he will say to himself, "舅舅 and 舅母...go shower ah..."

When mummy show her black face or he sensed that mummy is angry, he will quickly say "mummy 骂骂 ah, mummy 没有骂骂" with an innocent and crying tone, keep repeating it and hug mummy until mummy no more angry.

Likes to talk and sing a lot. He can continue talking and singing for 10mins, 20 mins...and on and on... An example, from the minute we board the MRT train until we reach the destination Oliver : "door's closing..door's opening..train stop loh...yiii, train train spoilt ah?...howm ni stations? 2 more stations?....oh train stop, 到 liao loh?....还没有到...oh what sound's that?..train train sound?...bla bla bla..." and sometimes will say hello to another kid or baby, keep saying hello until they responded to him!

Fasten the seat-belt please!
This is not the exact words Oliver said, but is what he meant.
He will always remind mummy and papa to fasten the seat-belt.
"Mummy / Papa...绑!绑!"

Oliver still not really understand the meaning of 我你他 (me, you or him/her) yet.
He will say "mummy help you shower" means he want to go shower.
He will say "mummy 帮你脱鞋子" means want mummy help him to take off his shoes...

When papa is driving, likes to remind papa "red colour stop!!! green colour goooooo!!!"

依依不舍

Just now Oliver and us were at our neighbor house which is few doors away, their 2 kids are Oliver school mates as well. He had been playing there for around 2 hours. So when it is time to pack the toys, oliver was very cooperative, in fact so cooperative that we were surprised. He help his school mate tidy up all the toys. Then upon packing up, he ran into the bed room of our neighbor house. There we realized that he thought he could stay over night at the neighbor house. He burst into tears when he knows it was not......and the bursting got louder as we walked back to our own house........so heart pain.

Why he so 依依不舍 was because he had a great time at neighbor house, the video below tell you why.

横冲直撞

Let me show all of you what is the meaning of 横冲直撞!

Mummy, 在做么？

Oliver likes to go into the kitchen then hold on to the edge of the table, lift up his legs and swing like a little monkey then ask mummy : what are you doing?
or sometimes will stand besides mummy and ask : mummy 在做么？

He will point at each of the thing on the chopping board or bowl or plate and ask what's that? 这个leh? 那个leh?

Although is not painful, but still, I don't like it at all!!!

Oliver was so excited that the moon is like 'following' our car.

When there are buildings or trees blocking the view of the moon;

After a while, Oliver ask again : moon moon leh?

After a while, mummy reminds Oliver the same thing again : baby, tomorrow mummy go work work and you go 婆婆house ya...then... (before mummy able to finish the sentence)

Oliver : 婆婆 bring go school school ya...

Hope after one week of break, Oliver will not cry when mummy send him to 婆婆 house tomorrow morning and will not cry when go to school!

This is what Oliver told mummy when mummy ask him how is school school today? what did teacher teach him.

Every morning when 婆婆 send Oliver to school, he will still cry a little bit and refuse to let her go. But after a while, he is ok and play with his friends happily. When 婆婆 go fetch him back from school, he even refuse to go home! Next week we will be going for a 1 week holiday, hopefully after 1 week of holiday, he will still be ok when back to school on the following week!

Recently Oliver created his own language, which we call it "Alien's language"!

He only 'speak' this language when we are on the bed chit chating;
when he is happy to see us fetch him from babysitter's house and when he is happy to see either one of us back from work.

Now when we are at home I didn't wear diaper at all except when sleeping time. Each time after pee pee or poo poo, I will praise myself "good boy!" and mummy will give me a big big hug!

However, 婆婆 still don't believe that I am ready! She still let me wear the diaper whole day because she worry that I will just pee or poo poo on the floor. 婆婆 ah, no need to let me wear the diaper at all the time now and no need to force me to pee pee or poo poo. Just trust me and I will prove it to you!

Skool skool..toy toy

On the 3rd day of school on last Friday it was our babysitter who brought Oliver to school. Oliver cried again, keep wanted to go home. However she just ignored and left.

During the weekend, mummy : baby, monday 婆婆 will bring you to school again ya. At school you can play with your new friends, sing ABC song and many other songs, do colouring...etc etc"

Oliver : .....................

Mummy repeated the same words for few times....

Oliver only responded once....shake his head and says : don't want, 怕怕!

This morning, Oliver went to school happily but when 婆婆 want to leave, he started crying. Again, 婆婆 just ignored and left. During the class, he cried few times, cried a while then stop, then cried again.

Just now before go to bed, mummy talks to Oliver again about going to school, etc. This time, he did not shake his head and says 怕怕, instead he said

"skool skool ah...toy toy.."

The Apple Tree ~ 2

Today our Oliver boy is not so cooperating :(

Same as yesterday, he happily walked to the class and happily rushed into the class. While waiting for his other classmates to come in, he played with the toys happily. I called him out and told him that mummy is going to work work and later poh poh will come fetch him, he grumbles and pull me into the classroom to sit down with him. I went in with him and again told him the same thing then I leave the class and hide at one corner to peep on him. He seems forgotten about me and continue to play the toys but later he came out to the door and ask for mummy again. The other parents told him that mummy had gone to work, he grumbles a bit and turn back to the class.

When I thought I can leave him there alone, I heard a familiar crying sound from the class..and yes, is Oliver crying out loud! The reason of him crying is that he try to snatch the toy from one of his classmate and teacher scolded him, he gets angry and then burst out crying. I think since then his mood had been spoilt and doesn't want to be in the class anymore! I went in again, though may not be the right choice, to accompany him till the end of the class.

During the rest of the session in the class, he's getting worst than yesterday! Not only that he cried few times, he also refused to sit down and keep wanting to open the door to get out of the class.

After the class ended and when we were on the way to babysitter house, I asked him where his school is, he pointed at the correct direction. Then.....I asked whether tomorrow he still want to go to school again.

He replied "Don't Want!" ..loud and clear!

Evening time at babysitter house I ask him again the same question, he shake his head and says "怕怕!"

....opppsss.....

He is only a 26+ months old boy, I am wondering...do we really need to let him go through all this now? Is it too early for him? Really feel heartache to see him cry. :(

Oliver's 1st artwork!

The Apple Tree

Today is Oliver's first day to the playgroup that we had signed up for him.

How time flies, 26 months ago he was just a little baby that only knows how to cry for milk, doesn't knows how to talk or walk yet...and now going to start his first 'school' life, going to learn more new things, learn how to communicate with others, get to know some friends, etc..

Once enter the class, Oliver totally forgotten about mummy! He walk around, touch everything on the wall, pull the chairs to play, snatch the toy from other kids.

During the class, Oliver just refuse to sit down, still continue to walk around, pull the hand of other kid to play with him, hug another kid from behind refuse to let go! The only moment that he sit down and listen was when teacher play the song, the singing time! But once the singing session finished, he complain and wanted to switch on the radio again...aiikkss..

Although Oliver is not one of the quiet one that will sit still and listen to teacher, but he is definitely one of the good kid that is not crying or keep crying throughout the class. At least, he seems to enjoy the class and not scare of mixing around with other kids.

Tomorrow mummy will not accompany him and to leave him alone in the class, hopefully he'll be ok!

Ever since I learned how to use the camera, I will take photos here and there whenever I like!

Will I be a professional photographer in future? Mummy again started wtih her dream that her son will not only become a professional photographer, but also a famous and rich one!....

After shower, mummy totally forgotten about the yogurt thing and went on to shower; once mummy step out from the bathroom;

02.01.2011 (Sunday)

From morning until my nap time, I didn't wear diaper at all! Whenever I feel like peeing I go to the potty straight away! I had even poo poo at the potty as well! Both mummy and papa are so happy about this.
I am one more step closer to no diaper day, heheh...

Lift

No one else can press for the lift except me!
I just love to press for the lift whenever I see the lift!

run, run run, I want to be the first one to press for the lift~

run run run, once reach the floor, I want to be the one who open the door!..but...

I know how...

I know which remote controller to switch off the TV, the DVD player, the amplifier!

I know where 婆婆keep the broom, I will take it out and sweep the floor!

I know that when we are ready to go out, we have to close the balcony door, switch off all the fans, lights etc, I will help papa and mummy to do so before we go out.

I will also help to open the main door and gate first even when papa and mummy are not ready yet;

I know how to wear my shoes shoes and socks without anyone helping me!

I know how to take it off also!

From mummy : We never really teach Oliver on how to wear shoes or socks, he learned and do it all by himself! Papa only teached Oliver once on how to put the socks inside the shoes and put the shoes back nicely. :)

If you noticed, I can only clip the washed clothes on the first row, that's because mummy does not allow me to step into the balcony yet :(
She worried that I will throw something downstairs from the window of the balcony..

25.12.2010 ~

was the first time I didn't wear diaper and pee at the potty by myself! I even clap hand and praise myself "good boy"!

But on the same night some moment later i pee on mummy instead of the potty because papa scolded me for something i have done wrong; I cried and forgotten that I should pee at the potty :(

31.12.2010 ~

after my shower at around 8pm, mummy didn't let me wear my diaper until I go to bed. During that 2 hours+, I pee at the potty twice! I did it once again without anyone reminding me or telling me to do so!

I am one step closer to diaper free day, yeahhhhh~
