Super engergetic Oliver!

Ever since Oliver is able to sleep through the night without waking up in middle of the night for milk, we had trained him to sleep at around 9pm or 9.30pm. But as he grows older, he refuse to sleep that 'early'! Even if we bring him into the room at around 9.30pm, he will be jumping, talking, singing and walking around etc... inside the room for 1 hour or even more until he gets tired. By the time he feels tired and finally doze off, it is around 11pm!

During the day where he is at nanny's place, he will sleep for about 1 or 1 1/2 hours in the morning and 2 or 3 hours in the afternoon. We thought that he might have slept for too long during day time thus making him doesn't want to sleep early at night, therefore we try to adjust his sleeping pattern during weekend. That is letting him sleep only for 2 or 3 hours in the afternoon since he only wakes up at about 8 plus or 9am. But...........is still the same, at night he still refuse to sleep early. Even though we bring him go out for a walk, let him run around, thinking that might gets him exhausted and settle down early but....still no change! His papa and mama gets tired before he does!

ya, same goes to Tiffy when she turned 1 yr old, so I adjusted her nap from twice to 1 time only...from 12pm to 3 pm, do not let her sleep exceed 3 pm..or else, big headache at nite...then, get her to bed at 8pm, let her roll and play on bed for half an hour, she will doze off automaticly....

ya, that's what we did during weekend, only let him sleep in the afternoon. But at night still the same, still very active as usual, haha. During weekdays we can't adjust to that timing, coz by the time we go and fetch him home from nanny will be around 7 something, by the time we settled down to spend time with him will be around 8pm ler...but anyway, soon next year will send him to Childcare ctr to let him spend all his 'extra' energy during day time, hahaa....
